Convert a Chase CSV to QBO (checking & credit card)

Chase checking

Chase checking CSVs have Details, Posting Date, Description, Amount, Type, Balance, Check or Slip #. Bankfold maps them automatically, carries check numbers into the QBO file, and uses the Balance column to verify every row adds up.

Chase credit cards

Card exports have Transaction Date, Post Date, Description, Category, Type, Amount, Memo, with purchases already negative. Set the account type to Credit card before downloading so QuickBooks treats it as a card statement.

Banks change export layouts from time to time; if a column is mapped wrongly, change it with the dropdown above the column and Bankfold remembers it for next time.
